ICYMI: In Case You Missed It!
Winter break is finally here, which means students will have a little extra time on their hands between now and the start of the semester. Even though winter break is a great time to rest and recharge after the fall semester, that doesn’t mean it has to go to waste! It’s the perfect time to set new goals, learn a new skill, or embark on a new journey that you haven’t had the time to start. Maybe that means finally getting around to applying for that scholarship you’ve been meaning to apply to, or researching careers and majors that you might be interested in! Maybe it’s something as simple as getting organized before the spring semester or making small changes to help you be a better student in the new year.
Whatever you’re working on over winter break - here are five blogs that I think all students - both high school and college - need to read. If you know a student, send this to them to read over their break! If you’re a student yourself, hopefully, you can use these to get some inspiration as to what you may want to accomplish over winter break (even if it’s as simple as learning about new careers or hunting for scholarships!).

Do you struggle to get things done on time, or feel like there’s always a never-ending pile of work to be done during the semester? This blog discusses how to hone in on time management skills (even if you have none!) so that you can learn to balance tasks without being overwhelmed. Read for practical tips on how to find a system for managing your time that works for YOU!
On Goal-Setting
If you’re like me, you probably set a lot of mental goals, but struggle with following through on them. You have it within you to achieve your goals, but the problem is that you don’t have a system to achieve them, so you get a little lost along the way. This advice blog explores best practices on how to set goals, and then accomplish them… whatever they may be!
On Finding + Writing Scholarships:
“Scholarships come SO easy to me!” said no one ever! If you’ve ever struggled to locate scholarship opportunities and write scholarship essays (who hasn’t?), then this is the blog for you. In this blog, we explore how you can easily find scholarships that you’ll actually want to apply for, and how to apply to them -- even if writing isn’t your strong suit. But in this blog, we discuss determining if an internship would benefit you, and if so, how to go about finding one! Even if you aren’t planning on joining the workforce just yet, you’ll definitely want to check out this blog for when the time comes.

Winter break is the perfect time to get around to doing all of the things you put off during the semester, like searching for scholarships or finding an internship!
